We just wanted to take a moment to share how great it’s been to hear about all the fundraising ideas coming from our clubs and societies on campus. It’s really inspiring to see the creativity and dedication you all bring when it comes to supporting important causes, and your own groups. Fundraising for your society means having the resources to give back to your members by organizing fun events, providing opportunities for social activities, and subsidizing costs to make participation more affordable for everyone.  Whether it be for your soc/club, or giving to an incredible charity, it’s clear that everyone is committed to making a real difference in the community.

We’ve had some really productive meetings with many of you, discussing ways to bring your fundraising events to life. From helping you plan from scratch to offering advice on the finer details, it’s been great to collaborate and see your ideas come together. It’s always exciting to see the teamwork and energy that goes into each event.

In addition to supporting your fundraising efforts, we’ve also been helping out with various society activities. It’s been rewarding to assist in whatever way we can - the effort and passion you put into everything you do really stands out, and it’s been wonderful to be a part of it.

Looking ahead, we’re also in the process of exploring ways to collaborate with other local higher education institutions in Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen the communities of our clubs and societies, and it will help us expand our reach and build connections with students from across the area. By working together, we can share ideas, resources, and have a bigger impact on our local community.
