Over summer, our SU Advice service has gone through several updates to ensure we are continuing to offer the best support possible to you! As part of this development, we have updated our website layout to provide clearer resources, information and signposted.

Our updated resources include several quick guides to help you manage appeals, complaints, suspected breaches and to understand the Academic Regulations in place. These quick guides can be used to support you going through any of these University processes, in addition to the tailored advice from our advice service. They offer general guidance around the process you can expect, and ideas on how you may wish to respond. These guides are not intended to replace the advice we offer, but to supplement advice meetings or offer general guidance that is available 24/7.

Our Academic Regulations Guide offers an accessible and condensed explanation of the academic regulations that all students are encouraged to be aware of. This is to support your studies, understand the expectations of the university and help prevent academic misconduct occurring in the first place.

Our advice service offers in-depth advice alongside this that can be accessed via appointment booking or email. Within the Advice pages on uogsu.com you can also find quick booking access, a glossary of helpful terms and our ‘Who Can Help’ pages. These are all designed to offer additional support and guidance for quick queries.
