A New CV Guide for Students Applying for Part-time Work
This step by step guide has been produced by Laura in the SU jobshop to help students who plan to apply for part-time jobs whilst studying for their degree to write a CV & covering letter.
Students wishing to apply for full-time graduate positions or internships/work experience can obtain information and advice from the University Careers Team or Degreeplus please visit the Employability Hub here for more information.
Remember, the demand for flexible working hours is on the increase which means competition for part-time work is high so a good CV is important!
You can view part time vacancies on the jobshop pages of the Students’ Union website and if you register for Talent Bank you will be registered to hear about the new jobs first as well as on campus assignments via jobshop temps. All of the jobshop’s contact details can be found at the end of this guide.
