Ness Garratt – Activities and Opportunities Officer

This week has been another busy Welcome Week for us all at the SU. Ness started the week with the annual pledge signing day with Worcester. This saw the captains of each sport in the programme come together to workshop the campaign #playyourpart and agrre on the rules that they want to play by.

Ness was also involved in supporting the Student Voice Team with Speak Week pop-ups gathering students’ feedback. It’s been great to see what you all had to say about your university experiences to hold the SU and University to account to make it even better.

Finally, Ness held another successful mocktail evening at Pittville and looks forward to hopefully hosting more SU events at Pittville.

Kit Boulting-Hodge – Education and Community Officer

This is my final week before I go on extended leave from the 10th- 1st of March so you will not see me around campus. This week has been speak week where throughout the week, along with the Student Voice team we have been going around the various campuses collecting all of your feedback to put it into a report where the students set the priorities and effects they want to see. On top of this, I have requested counsellor support in bringing down the HMO regulations to students. With the intake of international students and more in September housing is already an issue.

Bobola Ajibola – Welfare and Diversity Officer
