On Wednesday 12th March, Our TeamGlos Men's Football 1st Team has emerged victorious in the Western Tier 3 League. They have secured the title and therefore promotion to Tier 2 with an impressive display of skill and determination throughout the season. Their outstanding performance yesterday against Plymouth 1st team has earned them the top spot, marking a significant achievement in the club's history. They finished their penultimate match of the season with a staggering 0-8 win away at Plymouth.

In an equally impressive achievement, our TeamGlos Women’s Football 1st team has also been victorious in their league, earning an incredible promotion to Tier 1 for the 2025-2026 season. Their deciding match on the 12th March saw them face Aberystwyth 1st team in a gruelling game, with the final score at 3-2.

Both teams' outstanding accomplishments are a proud moment for Football at UoG, showcasing the talent and perseverance across the board. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and supporters who have made this possible!

The winning streaks of UoG Football did not stop there. Our Men’s Football 4th team were up against Royal Agricultural University 1st team at home. At half time our TeamGlos team were up a staggering 9-0! Our team did not concede any goals and matched their performance in the first half, with the final whistle blowing to a 19-0 win. This must mark one of the highest number of goals scored in a football match scored for UoG.
