Welcome to the University of Gloucestershire Gaming and Esports Society!

Our society aims to provide a fun yet competitive atmosphere for fans of esports. If you want to meet more gamers, compete in tournaments, or just have a bit of fun playing some games with friends, then you are more than welcome to join.

Last year, we managed to have four teams and a handful of individuals compete in NUEL (university esports tournaments) and we hope to send more teams this year too. We have scrims with other universities often and even if you're not a high rank please don't worry, it's a great place to hone your skills.

Even if you don't play competitive games, you are still welcome! We play a variety of games casually, from a range of genres. Even if you haven't played many games before, feel free to join if you would like to start playing.

We plan to host a variety of events this year - including in-house tournaments, laid-back gaming sessions and a variety of socials in person and online. We are going to host some LAN parties at the university this year, which is exciting!
