The Food Pantry: Donate or Take It

At UoG SU, we understand that the cost of living crisis is making it harder for many students to meet their basic needs. That’s why we’ve relaunched The Food Pantry: Donate or Take—a simple yet impactful initiative to help students who need extra support.

How It Works

The Food Pantry is a community-driven initiative where students can either donate food to support others or take what they need. Whether you're struggling to make ends meet or you simply want to give back, The Food Pantry is here for you.

Donate

If you're able to, bring non-perishable food items to the pantry to help fellow students in need. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

Take

If you're struggling to afford food, feel free to take what you need from the pantry. No questions asked—our goal is to ensure every student has access to the food they need.

Why It Matters

The rising cost of living is a challenge that many students face, but together we can support one another. The Food Pantry: Donate or Take It aims to create a safe, stigma-free space where students can access food and contribute to the well-being of their peers.

Whether you’re in need or looking to make a difference, your participation will help create a more caring, supportive university community.
